Digital Images are the effective means of communicating information because a picture speaks more than 1000 words. Many of the digital image processing applications require images to be further processed in order to enhance, segment or to extract features from it. For specific applications like CBIR, object recognition and image Forgery detection texture features plays a key role. Texture can be characterized into two types: Statistical and Structural. In this paper, we analyze both statistical and structural texture features.
