Portals has been defined in The Cambridge Dictionary as “doorways or porches especially agrand or imposing one”. Portals in fantasy genre are magical doorways that connect twolocations, places that are conceptualised as different – the real and the imagined, or thefactual and the counter-factual. There is no end to the places that fantasy can take us.
