A Mobile Adhoc Network is a infrastructure-less network of mobile devices that is self-configuring and is connected wirelessly. The communication in MANET functions properly only if the participating nodes cooperate in routing without any malicious intention. Since a MANET does not have any infrastructure sudden flooding would result in performance degradation and would result in the termination of the communication taking place. This research paper analyses the impact of flooding on MANET.
MANET, RREQ, Hello, SYN, Data, ICMP, UDP flood.
