Autonomous vehicles are driverless transportation systems that operate without human intervention. They operate on a simple principle: instead of humans accelerating, braking, and steering, the vehicle does this by itself. They are equipped with sensors, cameras, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning algorithms that enable them to navigate and operate without human intervention. They are revolutionizing the logistics and transportation management industry by offering enhanced safety, efficiency, and sustainability. Their integration into logistics and transportation transforms commuting, cargo transport, and urban navigation. In this paper, we will explore the potential of autonomous vehicles in logistics.
