The single crystal of indiumtelluried have been grown by zone melting method in growth condition. The energy band gap of indium telluried was 0 .28ev.the proportion of constitute material was confirmed by EDAX the infrared transmission of crystal in the regionfrom 400 to 4000cm-1 was determind by FTIR,which decrease with the increase of wavenumber due to the absorption.
